FAQs

Compatibility of Vehicles

1.Can I use TripleShot in a normal hatchback like Alto, WagonR, or i10?
Yes, TripleShot is designed for all petrol and diesel vehicles, including budget hatchbacks. You don’t need a luxury car to benefit from it — even everyday cars see improved mileage, cleaner injectors, and better throttle response.

2. Is it only meant for expensive or luxury cars?
No, TripleShot is suitable for all vehicles — from commuter hatchbacks to high-end German sedans. We highlight premium cars because the benefits are immediately noticeable, but the chemistry works just as well in any fuel-injected engine.

3. Will it work on diesel SUVs like Scorpio, Fortuner, or Bolero?
Absolutely. Our diesel formula is engineered to handle both city and highway cycles common with Indian SUVs. It cleans injectors, protects your fuel pump, and supports DPF health in BS6-compliant vehicles.

4. Is it safe for two-wheelers or superbikes?
The petrol variant can be used in performance bikes (200cc+), but avoid using it in scooters or small-capacity engines under 150cc. The concentration needs precise control and is better suited to larger combustion systems. Although Tripleshot has been engineered for cars above 1500CC, it has shown promising results for bikes as well.

5. Can I use this in CNG or petrol+CNG vehicles?
You can use it for petrol mode in dual-fuel (CNG+petrol) cars. It has no effect on CNG itself, but it cleans the petrol injectors and valves used during cold starts or switchovers — helping maintain cleaner combustion. However, This is not recommended by us.

6. Does it work on older BS3/BS4 cars or only BS6?
Yes. TripleShot is fully compatible with BS3, BS4, and BS6 engines. In fact, older engines may benefit even more from the cleaning and lubricating properties due to accumulated deposits. Moreover, Older Petrol vehicles suffer with corrosion issues due to ethanol blending in petrol. And Diesel engines suffer from Ultra Low Sulphur and Bio Diesel blending which also causes lubrication problems. Tripleshot has been formulated to mitigate problems for both Diesel and Petrol BS3, BS4 cars.

7. Is it safe for engines with DPF, GPF, turbo, or EGR systems?
Yes. TripleShot is formulated without metallics or ash-producing compounds, making it safe for emission systems like DPF, GPF, and turbochargers. Regular use is proven reduce soot buildup and help prevent EGR + DPF clogging.

8. Can I use it in automatic transmission cars?
Yes. Transmission type has no impact on TripleShot’s effectiveness. Whether you drive a manual, AMT, CVT, or torque converter AT — the additive works in the combustion system, not the gearbox.

9. Is this the same as AdBlue or urea?
No, TripleShot is a fuel additive, not a DEF (urea/AdBlue) solution. It goes into your fuel tank to clean and enhance combustion. AdBlue is only for emission control in diesel exhaust systems and never touches fuel directly. If any customer uses Tripleshot ‘Fuel’ Additives in their DEF tank, it may permanently damage the vehicle for which Tripleshot would not be liable.

10. Will TripleShot damage my engine or fuel pump?
No. It’s formulated with lubricants and cleaners safe for injectors, pumps, and valves. We never use corrosive agents or metallics commonly found in harsh boosters.

11. What happens if I use the petrol one in a diesel car or vice versa?
Accidental mix-ups in small quantity usually won’t cause severe damage, but the formulations are different. Avoid cross-use in every possible way. If unsure, dilute the tank with fresh fuel and avoid running the vehicle aggressively. If Possible, try to siphon out as much fuel as possible else visit a local garage.

12. Can I use it if my check engine light is already on?
Yes, but it won’t turn off warning lights related to mechanical faults. Use Tripleshot for cleaning and smoother combustion, but also get a scan or diagnosis done.

13. Can it harm catalytic converters, oxygen sensors, or DPF systems?
Not at all. Tripleshot contains no metals, ash, or MMT, making it completely safe for oxygen sensors, catalytic converters, and particulate filters in BS6 engines.

Fuel and Performance Questions

14. If Tripleshot has these benefits, why don’t the Fuel supply companies do the same?
In someways they do, but the simple answer is due to cost! Fuel is a necessary commodity for a nation. If a bottle of Tripleshot costs 550 per unit and we recommend 5ML per Liter of Fuel, that would imply an increase of 7.5 Rupees per Liter of fuel. The general public may not accept such a sharp increase in price of fuel and may disrupt logistics of businesses. Regardless, there are certain customers who would be happy to pay the premium for higher performance of their vehicle. For them, Tripleshot is the answer.

15. Will Tripleshot convert bad fuel into good fuel?
This is a very subjective questions, all fuel grades are compliant and adhere to strict BSI Standards. BSI Standards in someways surpass standards of a few developed nations as well. India faces a reputation of bad fuel, however the R&D budgets cumulatively cross over $1Bn. Fuel at refinery levels are of very good quality, however fuel is a perishable item. In certain cases, fuel attracts humidity which can cause its quality to degrade. Tripleshot will not cure fuel of such instances.

16. What happens after the dose is finished?
Once the treated fuel is consumed, your car retains some benefits (cleaner injectors, smoother idle), but the effect diminishes over time. Continued use maintains those gains. Once the boosters are burnt away, the power and refinement comes back to normal.

17. Will the effects go away if I stop using it?
Yes, over time carbon buildup will return, and performance/mileage may decline. No fuel additive is a one-time fix — it supports engine health through consistent use.

18. Does it work with XP95, XP100, Speed97, or Power petrol?
Yes. Tripleshot complements high-octane fuels and enhances their combustion even further. You can use it with any grade of petrol or diesel available in India. Tripleshot is built and engineered with Petrochemical products, therefore the compatibility suits with all existing fuel types.

19. Can I use it with ethanol-blended petrol (E10 or E20)?
Yes, Tripleshot is compatible with ethanol-blended fuels. It actually helps offset some of ethanol’s negative effects on mileage and cold start behaviour. Moreover, it contains fuel stabilisers and corrosion inhibitors. Using Tripleshot Petrol All-In-One provides an octane increase of 4 RON on base 91 RON Fuel containing 20% Ethanol.

20. Does Tripleshot increase octane or cetane number?

  • Petrol Additive: Boosts octane by 4–6 points, improving ignition timing and reducing engine knock by enhancing combustion stability, reduction of hotspots, reduction of knock.
  • Diesel Additive: Raises cetane by 8–12 points, promoting smoother starts, improved low-end torque, and overall performance.

21. Can I use Tripleshot with other octane or cetane boosters?
No — combining additives can cause unpredictable chemistry and may have unforeseen complications. Tripleshot already contains octane or cetane boosting agents along with detergents, polymers, and lubricants, so using multiple additives is never a good idea.

22. What’s the difference between an octane booster and a fuel system cleaner?
Octane boosters raise resistance to spark knock in petrol engines, while fuel system cleaners remove deposits from injectors and valves. Tripleshot does both—enhancing octane/cetane and cleaning combustion systems for better efficiency and protection.

Usage & Dosing

23. What if I accidentally add too much?
Slight overdose won’t harm your engine, but excessive amounts may affect combustion balance. Stick to the recommended dose for best results: 375 mL per full tank (petrol or diesel) unless otherwise advised. We have stress tested our test vehicles with up to 4 Bottles per tank; there is no ill effect, only the performance starts to Plateau off. Therefore, kindly stick with the recommended dosage for your vehicles.

24. Do I need to use it every time I fill fuel?
For consistent performance and deposit control, yes. Tripleshot works best as a routine maintenance additive. Skipping occasional dosages does not have and negative impact; but regular use delivers cumulative benefits. It has been formulated as a regular use product.

25. Can I add it to an almost empty tank?
Yes, but only before refuelling. Please note, Tripleshot is not a fuel replacement. It is an Additive package. Running your car on pure Tripleshot may have unseen circumstances.

26. What fuel level should my tank be at when I use it?
Ideally, pour the additive first into a reserve fill tank, then fill it with fuel so the additive mixes thoroughly. Minimum 7 - 10L fuel should be present in the fuel tank.

27. What if I forgot to add it before fuelling — can I pour it after?
Yes, you can pour it after fuelling. Given the dispersing qualities of Tripleshot it mixes equally well during post fill up addition.

28. Can I use half a bottle and save the rest for next time?
Yes, just make sure the cap is sealed tightly and the bottle is stored upright in a cool place. Do not expose it to direct sunlight or open flames. Keep out of a high heat environment. Although, best practice is to discard the bottle and utilise the whole package at once.

29. Will my car’s mileage drop again once I stop?
Not instantly, but yes, mileage and engine smoothness will return to its original form. Clean systems tend to reaccumulate deposits if no preventive additive is used.

30. Is Tripleshot a one-time fix or does it require regular use?
It’s a maintenance product, not a permanent fix. Use it regularly — like engine oil or filters — to keep your combustion system at its best.

31. Can Tripleshot restore performance in an old or sluggish car?
In many cases, yes. Tripleshot can help recover lost throttle response, reduce injector lag, and improve combustion quality. It cannot fix mechanical damage but enhances the overall engine feel.

32. Is there a risk if my mechanic says not to use additives?
Some mechanics are sceptical of additives due to poor-quality products in the market. Tripleshot is professionally engineered and tested — the results are measurable and repeatable. However, you must always listen to what your mechanic or service centre recommends.

33. Will it improve throttle response or low-end pickup?
Yes. Users report noticeably better throttle feel, reduced engine hesitation, and smoother low-end acceleration, especially in city driving conditions.

34. Does it actually clean injectors and valves?
Yes. Tripleshot contains polyetheramine (PEA) detergents that dissolve gum, varnish, and carbon deposits — helping restore spray pattern and combustion efficiency.

35. Will it reduce black smoke, rough idling, or vibration?
In most cases, yes. It improves combustion quality and fuel atomization, which directly reduces unburnt fuel (smoke), stabilizes idle RPMs, and smoothens engine tone.

36. Can I use Tripleshot if I don’t know anything about cars?
Yes. Just pour it into your fuel tank before filling up. No mechanical skills or garage visit is needed — we’ve designed it for everyday drivers.

37. Can I pour it into the engine oil instead of the fuel tank?
Absolutely not. Tripleshot is only for the fuel tank. Pouring it into engine oil may cause severe damage. Always read the label before use. Do not start the ignition if poured into engine oil, consult a mechanic or workshop immediately.

38. Will it give me more horsepower or instant performance boost?
It improves combustion, not raw horsepower like race fuel. However, if your engine is tuned you will definitely find a difference of horsepower. This is subjective as Horsepower gains are only measurable with a Dyno Run. If you run data logs, you will find the difference during your log runs. A fuel additive is not a replacement for upgrade parts or ECU Tune ups.

39. Do I need a mechanic to add this or can I do it myself?
You can add it yourself. Open the fuel cap, pour the recommended dose, and fuel up as usual. No tools or technician required. Or, hand it over to the fuel pump assistant; they would know what to do.

Health and Safety

40. Is Tripleshot safe to touch or smell?
Tripleshot is a fuel-grade chemical — avoid direct skin contact or inhalation of fumes. Handle only in open or ventilated areas and wash thoroughly if spilled. It is not a corrosive; it would not eat through skin. Regardless, it must be handled with care and absolutely kept out of reach of children.

41. What happens if someone accidentally drinks it?
It is highly toxic and absolutely fatal if consumed. Keep it away from children and pets. If consumed, seek immediate and urgent medical attention — do not wait or induce vomiting. If warnings are not followed, Tripleshot would not be liable if any person consumes Tripleshot.

42. Can Tripleshot come into contact with skin or eyes?
Avoid all contact. In case of eye contact, flush immediately with clean water for 15 minutes and consult a doctor. If it touches skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water.

43. What should I do if it spills on my hands or clothes?
Remove clothing and wash skin immediately. Do not use alcohol or thinner to clean. Keep the product away from heat sources during cleanup.

44. Is it flammable? Can I keep it inside a hot car?
Yes, it’s extremely flammable. Never store it in hot interiors or under direct sunlight. Keep the bottle sealed and in a shaded, cool space.

45. Why is TripleShot packaged in glass bottles?
Glass preserves chemical integrity, looks premium, and is 100% recyclable. It doesn’t react with fuel additives like some plastics do — ensuring shelf-stability.

46. Is the glass bottle fragile? What if it breaks during handling or transport?
Handle it with care. We pack each bottle securely, but glass is inherently breakable. If it breaks, avoid contact with the spill and discard both contents and shards safely. If the glass breaks on flooring or anywhere at home, kindly do not use water to clean it. This would only increase the problem. Look for kitchen tissue papers, if not; use old newspapers to soak up as much liquid from the floor as possible. Usually, 1 bottle would require approximately 10 -12 newspaper pages. After majority of the liquid has been soaked try to use baking soda, or talcum powder to clean the remaining of the product. Once this has been made into a semi dry spill, continue to wash with water and dishwashing liquid. Tripleshot break and spills are very difficult to control. Hence kindly handle with care.

47. Why not use plastic like other fuel additives?
Plastic often reacts with high-performance chemicals over time. Glass ensures zero interaction, keeps the formula stable, Glass is also the go to choice for lab equipment’s.

48. Can I leave the bottle in my car or park it in sunlight?
No. The glass bottle is chemically stable but contains highly flammable liquid. Exposure to heat or sunlight increases pressure and fire risk. Always store in a cool, shaded area, upright and tightly sealed. Moreover, prolonged sunlight exposure may cause the product to oxidise.

49. Is it safe to use water to clean up the additive spill?
Not initially — TripleShot is hydrophobic and flammable. Wait until the bulk spill is absorbed and sealed in waste. Then wash the area with water and mild detergent under proper ventilation.

50. What if some of it spills on my car’s paint or interior?
Wipe immediately with a dry cloth and then wash the area with soap and water. Avoid rubbing aggressively. Tripleshot may damage paint or plastics if left unattended. Petrochemicals and paints are closely related in terms of chemistry. Thus, Tripleshot products may have the capability of damaging paintworks or interior works.
